The Bel 5110E broadcast profanity delay unit offers all of the features required by the broadcaster who performs live programs or phone-ins, allowing quality program output to be maintained at all times at an affordable price.

Utilising advanced technology, the Bel 5110E features a transparent "auto-catch-up" mode which automatically builds up a delay "on air" in real time, allowing the program to flow without interruption. Providing from 2.5 to 40 seconds of stereo audio delay, the Bel 5110E can be configured to allow adequate time to identify and remove any undesirable program content during phone-ins or live productions.

Main I/O comprises of both Analogue and AES as standard, likewise the cart input is also available on both analogue and AES connections allowing installation into both analogue and fully digital broadcast systems.

Two algorithms are available for speech or music, selectable from the optional wired remote control or a third party bespoke control panel. Remote functions also include "Edit" and "Delay in/out". When the "Edit" button is pressed the Bel 5110E will delete the audio contained in the delay and either provide automatic cart insert via the cart player interface or unobtrusively reintroduce the delay. All remote functions can be accessed via a dedicated rear panel connector, allowing the integration of custom control panels.

A fail-safe bypass system is also incorporated in the event of power failure.
