Thai Broadcasters Ring Changes With Bel

01/10/2012

Monitors from British based company Bel Digital Audio are proving increasingly popular with broadcasters in Thailand. NBT, the Thai state broadcaster, has taken delivery of two 4 channel BM-AV2 audio/video monitors, whilst Channel 7 has installed four BM-A1 audio monitors in their new outside broadcast vehicle.

Bel's 7150 digital delay is also proving a hit with Thai broadcasters with multiple units going to both radio and satellite TV stations across the country. The expanding range of Bel monitors and delays now includes multichannel analogue and digital audio monitors, plus 3G SDI digital audio/video monitors and de-embedders featuring comprehensive I/O. The range of delays include industry standard audio synchronisation devices and profanity delay units.

Within the last month Bel has launched the new 2U BM-AV2-E16SHD audio/video monitor and de-embedder, featuring 16 individual high resolution LED bar graphs and a 5 inch video display. The new unit provides audio and video monitoring of 3G, HD, and SD SDI video signals with loopthrough and additionally offers Dolby E / Digital and Digital Plus decoding.
